قسم الجراحة العامة

الأهداف

يهدف قسم الجراحة العامة إلى:

1. إعداد خريج يمتلك المعرفة والمهارات الإكلينيكية الأساسية اللازمة لممارسة الجراحة العامة بكفاءة وأمان.

2. تنمية قدرات الطلاب على التفكير النقدي وحل المشكلات واتخاذ القرار الجراحي المبني على الدليل العلمي.

3. إكساب الطلاب المهارات الجراحية الأساسية مع الالتزام الصارم بمبادئ سلامة المرضى ومكافحة العدوى.

4. غرس القيم المهنية والأخلاقية والمسؤولية المجتمعية والعمل ضمن فريق الرعاية الصحية.

5. دعم البحث العلمي التطبيقي في مجالات الجراحة المختلفة وتشجيع النشر العلمي والابتكار.

6. المساهمة في تحسين الخدمات الصحية الجراحية المقدمة للمجتمع المحلي بمحافظة دمياط والمناطق المحيطة.

7. مواكبة التطور العلمي والتكنولوجي في مجال الجراحة، خاصة الجراحات طفيفة التوغل والتقنيات الحديثة.

8. تعزيز مبدأ التعلم المستمر والتطوير المهني مدى الحياة.

يهدف القسم إلى توفير تعليم طبي متميز، وإجراء البحوث العلمية، وتقديم خدمات جراحية عالية الجودة للمرضى

Objectives

The General Surgery Department aims to

Prepare graduates with the essential knowledge and clinical skills required for competent and safe general surgical practice

Develop students’ abilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, and evidence-based surgical decision-making

Provide students with fundamental surgical skills while ensuring strict adherence to patient safety and infection control principles

Instill professionalism, ethical conduct, social responsibility, and effective teamwork within the healthcare system

Support applied scientific research in various surgical disciplines and encourage scientific publication and innovation

Contribute to improving surgical healthcare services for the local community of Damietta Governorate and surrounding areas

Keep pace with scientific and technological advances in surgery, particularly minimally invasive and modern surgical techniques

Promote lifelong learning and continuous professional development
