الأهداف الاستراتيجية

أولاً: الأهداف التعليمية والأكاديمية

• تطوير المناهج: تحديث وتطوير المناهج الأكاديمية والسريرية بشكل مستمر لتتوافق مع أحدث الإرشادات العالمية في تخصص النساء والتوليد.
• تخريج قادة: تزويد طلاب الطب والمتدربين بالمعارف والمهارات اللازمة ليصبحوا ممارسين وأكاديميين وقادة متميزين في مجال صحة المرأة.
• التعليم المستمر: إنشاء وتفعيل برامج متقدمة للتدريب التخصصي والزمالات رفع كفاءة الأطباء بعد التخرج.
• التقييم والتحسين: تطبيق نظام فعال لتقييم العملية التعليمية والتدريبية لضمان جودة المخرجات الأكاديمية.

ثانياً: الأهداف البحثية والابتكار

• زيادة الإنتاج البحثي ذي الأثر: تشجيع أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب على إجراء ونشر أبحاث أصلية عالية الجودة في مجلات علمية مرموقة، مع التركيز على أولويات صحة المرأة في المجتمع.
• تأسيس مجموعات بحثية: دعم وتكوين مجموعات بحثية متخصصة تركز على مجالات دقيقة مثل أورام النساء، طب الأجنة عالي الخطورة، أو العقم والتقنيات المساعدة على الإنجاب.
• التمويل البحثي: السعي للحصول على منح وتمويل للأبحاث من جهات دعم وطنية ودولية لتعزيز القدرة البحثية للقسم.

ثالثاً: الأهداف السريرية والخدمية

• التميز في الرعاية الثلاثية: العمل كوحدة مرجعية لتقديم رعاية متخصصة ومعقدة للحالات التي تتجاوز قدرات المؤسسات الصحية الأخرى.
• دمج البحث في الرعاية: تطبيق نتائج الأبحاث العلمية والتجارب السريرية الحديثة لترقية وتجويد الخدمات المقدمة للمرضى.
• شراكة المجتمع: المشاركة الفعالة في حملات وبرامج التوعية الصحية المجتمعية المتعلقة بالصحة الإنجابية والوقائية للمرأة.

A-Curriculum Development: Continuously updating and developing academic and clinical curricula to align with the latest global evidence-based practice guidelines in obstetrics and gynecology

B-Leadership Development: Equipping medical students and trainees with the knowledge and skills necessary to become outstanding practitioners, academics, and leaders in women's health

C-Continuing Education: Establishing and implementing advanced specialized training and fellowship programs to enhance the skills of physicians after graduation

D-Evaluation and Improvement: Implementing an effective system for evaluating the educational and training process to ensure the quality of academic outcomes

2-Research and Innovation Goals

A-Increasing impactful research output: Encouraging faculty and students to conduct and publish high-quality original research in prestigious scientific journals, with a focus on women's health priorities in society

B-Establishing research groups: Supporting and forming specialized research groups that focus on specific areas such as gynecological oncology, high-risk fetal medicine, or infertility and assisted reproductive technologies

C-Research funding: Seeking grants and research funding from national and international support bodies to enhance the department's research capacity

3-Clinical and Service Objectives

A-Excellence in Tertiary Care: To act as a Reference Center to provide specialized and complex care for cases that exceed the capabilities of other health institutions

B-Integrating research into care: Applying the findings of scientific research and recent clinical trials to improve and enhance patient services.

C-Community partnership: Active participation in community health awareness campaigns and programs related to women's reproductive and preventive health.
